A huge part of Talent Formula is the community we create by bringing like-minded people together. Community is important – both off & online.

We believe that talented individuals have full lives – both professionally and personally. Part of living an inspired life is having interests that fill you up intellectually and emotionally. Talent Formula’s contributors live this by connecting with amazing people every day through work, conferences, online conversations, volunteering, speaking, friends, and family.

Achieve Radiance Glow

This past Friday, May 31, 2013, Talent Formula’s Grace Lanuza & Leanne Kallal participated in Achieve Radiance’s GLOW event in Coquitlam. The event: Glow. Be Radiant. Be You. It was an evening of change and celebration for women. Check out event details here.

The event was “more than simply a seminar, tradeshow or party, Glow is an exciting combination of all three, bringing together women from all walks of like who are seeking positive inspiration to change and improve their lives, while connecting with other women and having fun.”

The best part of the event – besides a glamorous excuse to pull out a fabulous party dress and meet amazing local women – was that all proceeds go to charities that support & empower women locally and throughout the province (specifically Tri-City Transitions). Read more here.

Creating Personal Positive Change:

Learn how & why some of the amazing women from Talent Formula participated in the Glow Achieve Radiance event:

I got involved with Achieve Radiance’s Glow events simply because I wanted a chance to be able to give back to the community. It was important for me to be a part of a local movement that empowers women and support local women charitable initiatives.

Being in the organizing committee of the Glow Vancouver event and as support to the Glow Coquitlam event was a great way to connect with different women, many who have their own inspiring personal stories.

I was able to make a difference by contributing my expertise in marketing, large scale special events and social media. Also, the latest bag & jewelry from my Stella & Dot business were an added bonus to the many silent auction items that were donated to the events. I also had the chance to work with the event stylist to style the jewelry looks of makeover winners of both events.

This experience has allowed me to be even more inspired in helping out in the community and making a difference locally!

After spending the last 1.5 years traveling on a regular basis (for personal and professional), I’ve experienced a shift in values and mindset. While life on the road was exciting, I came to realize that my lifestyle was lacking in a couple of areas.

I value community and connecting with like-minded people, both in the virtual and physical world. To me, the Glow event by Achieve Radiance is about creating a community of like-minded women who can support each other to “achieve radiance” and live empowered, passionate and purposeful lives.

Glow facilitates this by creating a place for women to come together to be inspired, to connect with like-minded people in their community, and to have a good time while doing it!

To sum it up, we participated in Glow to meet amazing people and to support a cause that has shared values:

  • Community
  • Like-minded people
  • Support
  • Connection
  • Growth
  • How Talent Formula Contributed:

Leanne & Grace attended, donated, and networked on this fabulous Friday. Talent Formula participated in a unique way through Grace. Grace is one of the most inspiring women I know who gives back through volunteering in her community and for causes that matter. Grace contributed a Talent Formula social media audit to the Glow Coquitlam silent auction.

We believe your online presence matters – be it a personal or company brand.

Our audit was a hot ticket item with over 12 bids & we are thrilled to be helping a local realtor improve her online brand.

Thank you to Grace & Glow – Achieve Radiance for allowing Talent Formula to participate & contribute. – Chelsea
